Description
Preparation and use
Wipe the entire surface of the stone with a damp cloth before first use.
We strongly suggest you do not immerse the stone in water and do not wash it in running water! If the stone is watered, it must be dried in a natural environment before you start using it.
Place the dry stone on the stand and insert the structure in the tandoor. Warm up the stone for 30 minutes.
The stone can be placed into an already heated tandoor or while it heats.
Attention! Do not heat the stone if it is wet.
After the stone is heated, put your pastries on it and bake them in the tandoor until they are cooked.
Use a wooden shovel for convenience and safety when placing or removing baked food from the stone.
Before use, it is recommended to dredge the shovel and the stone with flour before use.
Cleaning and maintenance
Let the stone cool down. Wipe off flour or burnt food residues with a dry cloth or by gently scraping with a knife or a dry/slightly damp washup of medium hardness.
Wipe the stone only with a dry or damp cloth; do not soak it in water!
The stone is made of clay with the addition of fireclay, which are natural materials. Due to this fact, after long and repeated use, darker spots from burnt dough or small imperfections and scratches may appear on the surface, which are NOT a reason for a defects notice. Such changes in color and surface structure do not impair the properties of the stone or its function in any way.
Usage precautions:
DO NOT grease the stone with oil; DO NOT put in dishwasher; DO NOT use detergents; DO NOT immerse in water.
We wish you a pleasant use and many delicious baked goods!
