Description
The Samura GOLF Stonewash Nakiri 167 mm kitchen knife is a Japanese-style knife for vegetables, herbs, and precise chopping. Its shape resembles a compact kitchen cleaver, but the blade is thin and extremely sharp, designed not for bones, but for clean ingredient cutting.
Brief
The 167 mm blade is convenient for chopping cabbage, slicing vegetables, fruit, and herbs. The wide blade helps you work quickly on the cutting board and easily transfer chopped ingredients to a bowl or pan.
Functionality
Nakiri is suitable for everyday preparation of vegetable dishes, salads, side dishes, and WOK ingredients. The straight cutting edge provides stable contact with the board and helps achieve a clean, even cut.
Materials
The blade is made of AUS-8 steel hardened to 58 HRC. This steel retains sharpness well and is suitable for regular kitchen use. The Stonewash finish gives the blade a distinctive matte appearance.
Care
Hand washing is recommended, followed by immediate drying. Do not use a dishwasher, abrasive cleaners, or store the knife in a damp environment for long periods.
Ergonomics
The black polypropylene handle sits comfortably in the hand, does not slip, and does not rotate during use. Its anatomical shape helps maintain confident control during fast chopping and precise slicing.
