"Skif" Tandoor with Rotating Lid

The “Skif” Tandoor with rotating lid is an updated chamotte clay model designed for cooking flavorful outdoor dishes. It is suitable for cottages, backyards, terraces, BBQ areas, family gatherings and large groups.
Brief
The model is suitable for up to approximately 12 people per cooking session. Thanks to good heat retention, the tandoor allows several batches of food to be prepared after one firing.
Functionality
The tandoor can be used for steaks, skewers, poultry, fish, vegetables, pilaf, baked goods and other dishes. Heat comes from the tandoor walls, so food cooks evenly, stays juicy and does not require constant monitoring.

Rotating lid
The main feature of this model is the rotating lid mechanism. The lid opens with a rotating movement, without the need for a separate stand. This is convenient, saves space near the tandoor and makes cooking easier.
Temperature control
The model is equipped with a thermometer to help monitor the temperature inside and choose the right moment for placing food inside. The adjustable air vent allows control of airflow and heat intensity.

Materials
The body is made from chamotte clay — a durable heat-resistant material that stores and retains heat efficiently. The upper part of the tandoor features a decorative black ornament.

Use and care
Wood fuel can be used for heating, while birch firewood is recommended for the best result. One firing may be enough for 2–3 full batches of food. Fine hairline cracks may appear during heating — this is normal for clay products and does not affect the tandoor’s performance.
