"Lieutenant" Tandoor with Rotating Lid, Complete with Stand

The “Lieutenant” Tandoor with rotating lid is a spacious wood-fired oven made from chamotte clay, designed for outdoor cooking. It is suitable for backyards, cottages, terraces, BBQ areas, family gatherings and large groups.
Brief
The tandoor is suitable for approximately 12–14 people per cooking session. Thanks to its large volume and good heat retention, one firing may be enough to prepare several dishes.

Functionality
The tandoor can be used for steaks, skewers, poultry, sausages, soups, pilaf, fish, vegetables and baked goods. Heat comes from the tandoor walls, so food cooks evenly, stays juicy and gains a rich taste.
Rotating lid
The rotating lid mechanism makes the tandoor more convenient to use: the lid opens easily, does not require a separate place to put it down and provides quick access to the cooking chamber.

Construction
The model is equipped with a thermometer for temperature control, a decorative small cap and an adjustable air vent for airflow control. The set includes an original stand for more convenient and stable installation.

Materials
The body is made from chamotte clay — a heat-resistant material that stores and retains heat well. The forged steel metal frame gives the construction strength, stability and durability.
Use and care
Wood fuel can be used for heating, while birch firewood is recommended for the best result. The tandoor uses firewood economically and partially self-cleans with each new firing. Fine hairline cracks may appear during heating; this is normal for clay products and does not affect performance.
